Supervising Authority of OGMR

OGMR is supervised by the Ministry in charge of geology and mines.

There shall be concluded between the Ministry and the Board of Directors a contract of performance indicating powers, rights and responsibilities of each party in fulfilling the responsibilities of OGMR.

Such a contract shall be valid for a period of the term of office of the members of the Board of Directors and be signed both by the Chairperson of the Board of Directors and the Minister supervising  OGMR.

Contents of the contract of performance

Among the contents of the contract of performance mentioned in Article 5 of this Law that should be provided in a clear way are:

1. the responsibilities of the Board of Directors, of the management as well as of the main organs of the OGMR;
2. expected results of OGMR;
3. the source of the property of OGMR; its functioning and the permanent audit procedures.
